Diwali Decor Lamps

Deepavali literally means a row of lamps, and the fastest way to make a room feel festive is still to light it properly. This guide covers Diwali decor lamps room by room — where to place a printed lamp, which designs hold up when the room is lit only by lamps and diyas, how to layer printed light with traditional diyas, and exactly when to order so the lamps arrive before the festival.

Diwali 2026 dates and when to order

Diwali 2026 falls on Sunday, 8 November 2026, with Dhanteras on Friday, 6 November and Choti Diwali on Saturday, 7 November. Because every festive lamp is printed to order, the artwork has to be approved, printed, checked and shipped — so the ordering date matters more than the design.

  1. Now to the last week of October — choose designs, collect photos and place the order for home decor lamps.
  2. First week of November — final date for bulk corporate and gifting orders with logo printing.
  3. By 6 November (Dhanteras) — last realistic point for standard delivery inside India.
  4. Keep 2–3 November free — for proof approval, because printing cannot start until you approve.

Layer printed lamps with diyas and string lights

The rooms that photograph well at Diwali use three layers of light rather than one bright ceiling bulb: diyas and candles at floor and table height, a printed lamp at eye level that carries the design, and string lights on curtains or railings for sparkle. The printed lamp is the piece that stays interesting when the string lights come down in December — it reads as a decorated object in daylight, not as leftover tinsel.

Place tall lamps behind and short diyas in front so the eye moves through the light instead of hitting one flat line. Keep at least a hand span between a printed shade and an open diya flame, and keep both away from curtains, torans and paper decorations.

Which designs work on a Diwali lamp?

  • Mandala, paisley and floral patterns — the safest choice, readable from across the room and in photos.
  • Peacock and lotus motifs — traditional without looking dated, and they glow evenly.
  • Family photographs — wonderful at close range; send the highest resolution file you have.
  • Festive greetings and names — Diwali wishes, a family name, a year.
  • Company logo — for office Diwali decor and client gifts, in solid brand colours.

Diwali lamps as gifts

A printed lamp is an unusual gift because it is used every night rather than kept in a cupboard — which is exactly what makes it work for housewarmings, weddings, anniversaries, Diwali returns and family gifts. Print a photo for relatives, a pattern for a new home, or a logo for a client. A decorative table lamp with a family photograph, or a hanging lamp for home with a festive design, both take the same artwork.

Bulk Diwali lamp orders for offices and teams

Companies order logo lamps for reception areas and cabins, and printed lamps as employee or client gifts during the festive season. One artwork set can cover the whole batch, and different designs can be mixed in the same order — team photos on each desk lamp, a standard logo on the reception pieces. Bulk Diwali gifting starts at 50 units, and every order needs a GST invoice and a delivery date, so start the conversation early in October rather than the week of Diwali.

Care and safety over the festive season

  • Use LED bulbs only — they keep the shade cool and protect the print.
  • Keep the lamp at least a hand span from diyas, candles and incense sticks.
  • Do not hang a lamp where rain or a ceiling fan can reach it.
  • Dust the shade with a dry cloth; remove oil and ghee marks immediately with a barely damp cloth.
  • Switch off decorative lamps overnight in rooms with fabric canopies or paper decorations.

Frequently asked questions

Which lamps are best for Diwali decoration?

Printed table and desk lamps for living rooms, bedside tables and pooja corners, and printed hanging lamps for dining areas and reception desks. Pair them with diyas at table height and string lights on curtains for a layered festive look.

Can I print my own Diwali design or photo on a lamp?

Yes. Photos, mandala and paisley patterns, festive greetings and company logos can all be printed. High-contrast artwork with a clear subject prints best because it is read through a lit shade.

How early should I order Diwali lamps?

10–15 days before you need them, since lamps are printed after the order is placed and the proof must be approved first. For Diwali 2026 — Dhanteras on 6 November and Diwali on 8 November — ordering by the last week of October is comfortable.

Can I order Diwali lamps in bulk with our company logo?

Yes. Bulk festive orders with logo printing are available for offices, teams and clients, with a minimum order starting at 50 units. Different designs can be mixed within one order.

Do the lamps come with a bulb?

The lamp is supplied as a complete unit with its LED light source, so it works as soon as it is unpacked and plugged in.
